Cleaning pau ferro ?

Darn...some tape adhesive stayed on the fretboard of the neck I was finishing. Should I use Goo-Gone or Naptha or ?

I always use lemon oil with great results..

Naptha will clean it right up and not damage the wood.

I had exactly the same thing recently on my Pau Ferro fingerboard. It came off with nothing more than saliva (not pretty, but effective!). I then used some lemon oil to bring out the grain a little and it came up great.

I have a PF fingerboard on a custom Strat that is works wonders on. It is equally wonderful on all of my Rosewood board and neck guitars.
